Car Free Day 2023

Milton Park companies rose to the challenge of this year’s Car Free Day, with over 150 people doing their bit to reduce carbon emissions and travel using sustainable modes of transport.

A massive thank you to all those who took part and congratulations to the impressive prize winners (see photo gallery at the bottom of the page):

  • Longest run: Joe Sanderson from Adaptimmune, running from Wantage
  • Longest cycle: Lucretia Edwards from Ipsen & Alex Watson from Evotec, both cycling from Reading

Largest proportion of employees participating:

  • Large company: Adaptimmune with 7% of its staff participating
  • Medium company: Replimune with 40% of its staff participating
  • Small company: Wild Bioscience with 29% of its staff participating
