MEPC’s CEO, James Dipple takes to the road for MIPIM 2017

Published on: 03/03/2017

As part of the celebrations for MEPC’s 70th year, coupled with the promotion of the highly successful office scheme at Wellington Place in Leeds, CEO James Dipple will be joining the team cycling to MIPIM this year.

Organised by Club Peloton, the annual charity cycle ride to Cannes attracts over 150 property professionals and takes place from Thursday 9th March to Tuesday 14th March. Cycling from Folkestone to the Côte d'Azur, the route covers over 1,500km.

This year, two thirds of the money raised will go to Coram, which is the UK’s oldest and first children’s charity, focused on providing life-changing services to vulnerable children and young people (www.coram.org.uk). The remaining third of money raised will be split across the following charities:

  • Tom’s Trust – supporting projects that benefit young people (www.tomaprhyspryce.com)
  • Emthonjeni Trust – The Raphael Pre-School in Grahamstown, South Africa, which provides a safe and fun place for children (www.emthonjeni-trust.org.uk)
  • Article 25 – Design and construction of buildings in international development, providing schools, home and health facilities when there is a disaster, poverty or need (www.article-25.org)
  • Multiple System Atrophy Trust – providing ongoing research into a cure for MSA and supporting those affected (www.msatrust.org.uk)

James Dipple, CEO at MEPC, said: “It is an enormous privilege to joining the team cycling to Cannes this year. I know this is going to be quite a tough challenge, but I fully intend to fly the flag for the company and our projects. Aside from promoting MEPC, alongside many other top property professionals we are delighted to be raising money for so many great causes.”
