“Too hard to handle” EU Clinical Trials Seminar

Published on: 26/05/2015

PCI Services, World Courier, Penn Pharma and OBN are joining up to bring to Milton Park an EU Clinical Trials Seminar at the Innovation Centre, 99 Park Drive.

Event Details:

When: Tuesday 23rd June
Where: Innovation Centre, 99 Park Drive
Time: 1.30pm to 4.30pm

The face of clinical trials is constantly changing with more challenges for drug developers than ever. Two core themes define this, new and evolving technologies, and more difficult disease targets. Drugs for these targets tend to be riskier to develop and more expensive to produce. With this in mind the “Too hard to handle” seminar will address the complexities of moving these compounds through the supply chain safely and efficiently whilst reducing uncertainty and cost.

From 2.15pm to 3.55pm there will be talks addressing the “Too hard to handle” challenges from David O’Connell of Penn Pharma, Adalyth Smith and Shawn Murtough of PCI and Sue Lee of World Courier.

1.30 – 2.00: Registration and light lunch
2.00 – 2.15: Welcome
2.15 – 2.40: How hard is hard?
2.40 – 3.05: Turning challenge into opportunity
3.05 – 3.30: Clinical trial QP challenges; practical examples from the real world
3.30 – 3.55: It’s a small world
3.55 – 4.30: Close and networking
