Collaboration Sales Specialist
Contract: Full Time
Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 OTE
Reporting to: Sales Director and Collaboration Practice Lead
We are looking for a sales professional who has a desire to become a trusted expert within our award-winning collaboration practice. You will be working closely with some of the best Cisco collaboration consultants in the industry to build ITGL’s client base and profitable revenues through net new collaboration business.
You will deal exclusively with Cisco’s collaboration portfolio and will engage with clients to apply the benefits of the technology to their own unique requirements. You will be passionate about delivering client success and will work alongside our client success practice to ensure this is achieved. You will have the determination to hunt for new business, and a passion to look after our existing clients.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Develop comprehensive knowledge of the Cisco solution stack, learn the value proposition and map client problems.
As a team player, work towards shared team goals with defined responsibilities and expectations.
Proactively hunt business opportunities in new accounts.
Initiate contact with prospects that have been generated through our marketing team and Cisco employee referrals.
Communicate with a variety of people and capture attention through relevant story telling.
Adapt to different situations in order to support a wide range of clients.
Work alongside the Client Success Manager to manage existing clients, ensuring opportunity for upsell and renewal.
Conduct onsite and online presentations that showcase our services and products.
Communicate the features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations.
Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in the CRM and comply with defined policies and procedures.
Work across departments to ensure solutions are delivered as expected.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
We require you to become an expert, and we will deliver full training to the right candidate. We seek an individual who has a competent understanding of the Cisco collaboration portfolio, along with a passion to learn and develop their career. Client success is at the core of our collaboration practice and we are looking for someone who upholds our standards in this area. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and abilities required.
At least two years’ experience of selling Cisco collaboration solutions. Cloud selling is desirable.
A track record of managing client commitment, negotiation, and closing of sales processes.
Demonstrable level of success in the development of client relationships.
Enthusiasm for working with clients and external audiences.
High energy and drive with excellent negotiating skills.
Proficiency in use of general office applications.
Strong organisation, presentation, and client service skills.
Ability to prepare written communication and materials.
Engaging interpersonal skills e.g. phone and video communication, active listening, and client focus.
Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changes.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
