James is a chartered surveyor and has over 35 years' experience in commercial property. He joined MEPC in 2008 as a main Board Director and Managing Director for Milton Park and Silverstone Park before being promoted to CEO in 2014. In a previous role he led Milton Park’s modernisation between 1997 and 2001, and was instrumental in developing a number of well-known business parks in the UK whilst a commercial partner at Strutt and Parker. James has a keen interest in architecture and the built environment. He is a mentor for students studying Land Management at University of Reading where he gained his degree. In his spare time James enjoys sailing and cycling.
Philip is the Park’s Commercial Director responsible for leading the on-site team and continuing to improve Milton Park. He joined the team in 2006, is a Chartered Surveyor and has over 25 years in commercial real estate. He is passionate about helping businesses with their evolving accommodation needs and enjoys simplifying complex real estate issues. Philip is an active figure within the local community and can often be seen jogging round Milton Park at lunchtimes.

Tom has a broad background of experience in commercial property having previously worked for consultants King Sturge (now known as JLL). Tom looks after the SME companies across the Park and is often seen visiting an occupier on one of our loan bikes. In his spare time, Tom helps manage his family farm in Woodcote, near Reading.

Clare joined the asset management team in August 2019, with previous experience working in the property and asset management team for a multi-national property consultancy that dealt with a wide range of clients and occupiers across the country.
In her spare time Clare likes to go away for weekends in the Lake District with her black labrador, read thrillers, go to the theatre and travel as much as possible.
Business mantra: Good better best, never rest until your good is better and your better is best.

Georgina is an experienced Chartered Marketer who has previously worked at Kier Group. She is responsible for all marketing, communications and events activity at the Park and delivering the strategy to accompany Milton Park’s Vision 2040. In her spare time, Georgina enjoys spending time with her family, socialising with friends and travelling.
Business mantra: Focus on the solution, not the problem.

Rebecca joined MEPC in September 2019 as PA to the CEO and Finance Director. Rebecca has previous experience working in a variety of administrative roles including personal assistance and office management. Rebecca recently returned to the UK after working in Melbourne for a while and taking some time out to go travelling.
Nicola looks after the Commercial Team very well: keeping them in check and making sure they’re in the right place at the right time. Nicola helps out the whole team from organising occupier leases to helping out on marketing and event activity. In her spare time, Nicola enjoys spending time with her family and visiting the Isle of Wight.

Emma is the Milton Park Property Manager within the Property Management Team and works alongside the Facilities Management Team. Her role consists of ensuring all elements of Lease obligations are adhered to, financing is in order (yes your rent and service charge billing), occupier’s applications for alterations are reviewed, approved and documented correctly and liaising with occupiers on queries they may have. In her spare time Emma enjoys spending time with her son Charlie helping out with his school events, leading 12th Didcot GWP Beaver Scouts and studying towards her MRICS qualification.

Shirley has managed finance functions and teams across the Park for nearly 15 years and has a strong network of professional and personal contacts within The Milton Park Community.
In her spare time Shirley loves to sing and spend lots of her time supporting her son and daughter with various musical productions.

Peter is Estate Manager at Milton Park, responsible for all building and landscaping maintenance. Peter works with Lucy and Jo in the facilities management team, who are responsible for managing contractors on site, including health and safety, reactive and planned tasks. In his spare time he will either be watching or playing cricket, preferably in the sunshine. here.

Lucy works with Jo & Peter on the facilities team and lives local to Milton Park. Lucy is out and about across the Park a lot – making sure everyone is happy with their buildings. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys spending family time with her partner and three children and socialising with friends.
Business mantra: Don’t make tough decisions until you need to. Most will solve themselves with time.

Jo started working Milton Park in November 2016 initially as a helpdesk administrator on the mechanical and electrical side and worked up through on the facilities side. In March 2019, she became an assistant facilities manager and now works with Lucy and Peter on the facilities team.

The Innovation Centre wouldn’t be the place it is today without Nikki. It’s a lively, innovative and exciting place to work and that’s reflected in Nikki’s personality. Nikki heads up the Innovation Centre team and oversees everything from meeting companies space requirements to operations to Friday coffee mornings! Nikki is an “am dram” lover, so regularly treads the boards in her spare time, in between keeping fit and to equal that out baking and eating lots of cake.

Likes working at Milton Park because: My son attends the fantastic nursery just metres from the office and I love the facilities to keep fit in my lunch breaks. It is an exciting place to work and I love being part of it.
Lorna joined the Milton Park team as Innovation Centre Manager in September 2019. After 14 years of working within the travel industry, Lorna was seeking a change – she now has a role that means she can have a health work/life balance but still enjoys a varied, fun and fast paced role.
In her spare time, Lorna still loves to travel and her favourite place in the world is Barbados. Lorna also works with Oxfordshire & Berkshire Shared Lives where she offers respite and support for adults with learning disabilities.

Nicola is the Assistant Innovation Centre Manager and helps Nikki on all things operational. You’ll sometimes see her giving a helping hand on the reception desk and often visiting occupiers to make sure everything is as it should be in the busy corridors of the centre. In her spare time Nicola enjoys spending time with the family, socialising and a good book.

Veronica is Milton Park’s Specialist Travel Advisor, assisting the Milton Park team with encouraging more sustainable travel to and from the Park and reducing single occupancy vehicles. Veronica has over 20 years’ experience in encouraging people to walk and cycle for health and transport. Her expertise lies in behaviour change approaches and demonstrating the impacts of interventions through pragmatic evaluation. She has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Exercise and Health and Psychology from the Oxford Brookes University.
Now that her grown up sons have fled the nest and are forging their own careers, Veronica spends her spare time nurturing her garden, growing vegetables and walking and cycling. A keen skier and food lover who now spends as much time in the mountain restaurants as on the slopes.

Paul joined MEPC in 2008 as Development Manager, having built up 15 years’ experience working as a Project Manager in several London based consultancy practices. Paul now Heads the Development Team at MEPC reporting directly to the CEO and is also a member of the MEPC Executive Board. Much of Paul’s time is spent on Wellington Place, Leeds, where he is working with his team to deliver a masterplan of 1.4million square feet of commercial and residential development.
Chris is a Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience. He joined MEPC’s development team in 2008 until 2014, and then re-joined the team in 2019, having previously and intermittently worked as a project manager in large consultancies. His experience covers offices, labs and industrial development as well as infrastructure projects. As a senior development manager, Chris works across MEPC’s portfolio of developments, predominantly Milton Park and Silverstone.
Miles is part of the development team and primarily works on projects at Wellington Place which is MEPC’s city centre business destination in Leeds. He oversees major development projects there and has previously been involved in impressive developments at Milton Park including 60, 55 and Park Drive East.
As well as being on the go at work, Miles is also on the go outside of work, often enjoying a trip away – kayaking, skiing and mountain climbing. In 2018, Miles ran the London Marathon on behalf of MS Therapy Centre, based right here on Milton Park.
Hannah job shares with Gemma and is PA to the Development Team and Office Manager at Milton Park. The development team are spread across all three MEPC estates – Milton Park, Wellington Place and Silverstone Park so Hannah is involved in many of the projects taking place across the MEPC portfolio.
Hannah is a keen equestrian and spends a lot of her spare time with her horse, competing in showjumping and sponsored rides.
Business mantra: Great things never came from comfort zones.

Gemma looks after the Development Team with her job share partner Hannah, ensuring the team has everything they need and that day-to-day office operations run smoothly. Gemma is a family focused person who enjoys spending time with close friends, eating good food and drinking nice gin!
