Signal Yard springs to life with fitness and wellness hub
An Oxfordshire-based physiotherapy practice is set to transform workplace wellbeing with the launch of Flex Health Hub at Signal Yard.
The innovative health hub brings together physiotherapy, movement-based rehabilitation, exercise programmes, nutrition support, lifestyle medicine, behavioural guidance and education all under one roof, seamlessly bridging the gap between healthcare and fitness.
By uniting clinically led wellness services in a single place, Flex Health Hub is designed to address the most common reasons people take time off work or struggle to enjoy everyday activities. These range from seasonal illnesses and mental health challenges to back pain and wider musculoskeletal issues.
Developed to enhance the long-term health and wellbeing of occupiers; while also welcoming the wider Oxfordshire community, Flex Health Hub provides practical preventative and recovery focused solutions that help people stay well, active and energised at every stage of life.
Expert-led classes, workshops and educational talks will be hosted within state-of-the-art, purpose-built studios at Signal Yard. The class programme includes Reformer Pilates, yoga and kickboxing alongside meditation, osteoporosis-focused movement and sessions covering menopause, long-term health and sustainable lifestyle change.
For employers, Flex Health Hub offers tailored programmes including wellness days, workstation assessments and subsidised initiatives, helping teams stay healthy and productive.
Chartered Physiotherapist and Clinical Specialist Tom Jacobs, who will lead operations at Flex Health Hub, said: “We looked closely at the main reasons people struggle with their health at work and shaped our offer around addressing those issues properly rather than simply managing symptoms. This is not a commercial gym. It is a clinically informed space where people can genuinely look after their bodies and minds.”
Flex Health Hub’s services will be available on a pay-as-you-go basis, with class passes and consultation options, while membership packages are set to launch later in the year. There will be a range of classes at Signal Yard designed to fit around the working day and include early morning, lunchtime and evening fitness sessions.
Alongside physiotherapy and movement-based rehabilitation, Flex Health Hub has confirmed a growing range of additional services including nutrition support, counselling, joint injections and private GP-delivered acupuncture. Further offerings such as orthotics, gait analysis and a specialist behavioural-change and preventative-health partner are also set to be introduced in the coming months.
Collaboration will play a key role in Flex Health Hub’s development, with the team working closely with fellow Signal Yard operators, including Apollo Pharmacy, to explore joined-up ways of supporting health and wellbeing. This reflects Signal Yard’s intentionally curated mix of operators designed to complement and strengthen one another.
Clare Fleet, Commercial Surveyor (Milton Park) at Federated Hermes Real Estate, said: “At Milton Park, improving the day-to-day experience of our occupiers is always front of mind. We already deliver weekly wellbeing initiatives but Flex Health Hub gives us the opportunity to deepen that commitment through a long-term partnership in a purpose-designed space.
“Flex’s approach to health and wellbeing aligns perfectly with what we want to achieve, and we’re excited to see the positive, lasting impact this facility will have on working life at the Park.”
Flex Health Hub will play a central role within Signal Yard, reinforcing its focus on health, wellbeing and community while supporting Milton Park’s people-first approach to amenities.
Joining independent Oxfordshire eateries, an award-winning Oxfordshire brewery and bakery, and essential services, Flex Health Hub further strengthens Signal Yard’s position as a dynamic and welcoming destination for Milton Park occupiers and the wider community.
