Food app trial – £50 to spend at The Hive Café!

As part of the amenity upgrade project, we are exploring a potential system where Milton Park companies can subsidise their employees food and drink purchased from any of the outlets on the Park. This was highlighted in the research undertaken in the amenity review, so Milton Park has been investigating technology that could act as a digital version of printed food vouchers and be redeemable in food outlets at the Park by employees.

In July we’re running a short trial of the hospitality app Tuck Trucks with 40 participants (maximum four per company), who will be able to use the app to buy food at The Hive Café in the Bee House between 17-28 July. The trial will test the functionality of the app.

If the trial is successful, the app will hopefully enable:

  • Those working at the Park to pre-order from the Park’s food outlets
  • Receive food and drink discounts
  • Allow Milton Park based companies to subsidise their employees’ meals (optional)

The trial will take place over two weeks (17-28 July), participants will be able to redeem up to a total of £50 to spend at the cafés (maximum £10 per working day). In exchange, those taking part will need to provide brief feedback on their experience of using the app and pay card. A maximum of four people per company will be selected, the first four on the list of each company be selected.

If you work at Milton Park and would like to take part in the trial then please fill in the form below by Monday 10 July. The first forty to fill out the form will be contacted directly shortly afterwards.

(Note: By providing your name and email address, you consent to be contacted to complete a short questionnaire about the user-experience should you be selected).

To register your interest in taking part in the trial…
