Nearly full: Bee House is the place to ‘bee’

Bee House, Milton Park’s flexible serviced office hub almost at capacity

Online car loan provider Oodle Car Finance is the latest company to make Bee House its home and is settling in nicely to the co-working, event space and flexible serviced office hub at Milton Park. 

Oodle’s arrival at its new 2,672 sq ft flexible serviced office space has taken Bee House to a 92% occupancy level, adding to the hive of activity just in time for the building’s third birthday this May. Oodle’s new workspace will provide its team with plenty of space for hot desking, co-working and meetings, with the onsite Hive Café keeping workers well-fuelled.  

Founded in 2016, Oodle aims to transform the vehicle finance experience. With a focus on making processes simple and hassle-free for both drivers and their partnered introducers, the business now supports over 100,000 drivers and works with more than 500 dealerships and introducers across the UK. 

Bee House’s diverse cluster of occupiers benefit from its dynamic environment, cross-pollinating and collaborating with like-minded people in the shared facilities such as Hive Café and at regular events, as well as networking in the 145-seat conference facility or its variety of meeting rooms. 

As the UK’s largest single-ownership innovation community, Milton Park has also revealed its number of occupiers has risen from 249 to 274 over the past year, with Bee House experiencing a 58% increase in occupancy during the same period. 

As Bee House’s latest occupier, Oodle joins a range of other companies of varying sizes and sectors, which include the likes of Aira Home, High Performance Polymer, Middleton Advisors, OBN, Physiomics, Total Projects and WobbleWorks. 

Nikki Gibson, who oversees Bee House as Ashdown Phillips & Partners’ Head of Flexible Workspaces, commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome Oodle Car Finance to its new home. We are finding that our occupiers are increasingly looking for more flexible facilities which can adapt to their evolving needs.  

“These spaces offer their employees hybrid working opportunities and the option to network among like-minded companies, whilst enjoying easy transport links and access to amenities on their doorstep.”
