Urban Garden Awards 2025

Published on 8 August 2025

Back to results

Milton Park’s Urban Garden Awards are back for 2025.

We’re excited to invite our urban garden plot holders to take part in the Milton Park Urban Garden Awards,  launching during National Allotment Week (11 – 17 August).

This is your chance to showcase the creativity, colour and care you’ve put into your garden plot – and maybe even win a prize! Whether your plot is bursting with biodiversity or you’ve grown something weird and wonderful, we want to celebrate it.

Award categories:
  • Biodiversity award – A haven for bees, bugs, and birds
  • Most unusual food item – Surprising and spectacular crops welcome
  • Largest food item – Go big or go home
  • Most inventive garden – Clever use of space, upcycling or design
  • Best use of colour – A visual feast from flowers, foliage or food
  • Most overgrown – Let nature run wild (intentionally or not).
How to enter:

Simply email events@miltonpark.com with your plot number, which category/ categories you’d like to enter and a short description (photos welcome!).

Judging will take place on Tuesday 30 September, with winners will be announced at the end of October.

Let’s celebrate all the weird, wonderful and wild things growing in Milton Park!
