Oktoberfest at Day Release
- Friday 9 October 2026
- 5pm - 10pm
- Day Release, Signal Yard OX14 4RR
- feasted.cloud.honeybees
Hosted by Tap Social
Tap Social is stoked to host Oktoberfest at Day Release, their newest Oxfordshire community venue.
They’ll have live oompah music from Abingdon Town Brass Band from 6 – 8pm, freshly baked sourdough pretzels, pizzas and more! In addition to German beers they’ll also have Tap Social’s new Festbier, a new 5.2% Oktoberfest Lager, pouring on draught.
That’s not all as they’ll also host three competitions:
- A traditional stein-holding competition to test your strength and perseverance
- A pretzel-cutting challenge, straight from late-night German television
- The wurst / hottest dog… whose dog looks the most like a sausage? Dachsunds have a slight natural advantage, of course, but all dogs very welcome to enter. It’ll be judged by local dog groomer Daisy from Short Bark & Sides.
