‘Powering a Healthy Didcot’ revealed as Powerhouse’s theme for grant applications in 2026
Didcot Powerhouse Fund, of which Milton Park is proud to be a founding member and quantum donor, is inviting charities and community groups to apply for 2026 grants from Monday 1 December and is calling for more donors to come forward and support.
The fund, which supports charities and groups making a positive difference to people living in and around Didcot, has announced its 2026 theme as ‘Powering a Healthy Didcot’.
We would like to say a huge thank you to individuals and companies across Milton Park who have supported Didcot Powerhouse Fund throughout 2025.
Powerhouse is now calling on charities and grassroots organisations that support projects strengthening local health and wellbeing to apply for grant funding in 2026 (applications close 11 January).

There are many ways to support Didcot Powerhouse:
- Apply for a grant in 2026 – applications are open to local charities and community groups between 1 December and 11 January
- Become a donor – individual or corporate donations welcome
- Volunteer your time
- Share this update on social media to spread awareness.
Making a local impact
Since launching in 2021, Didcot Powerhouse has distributed over £400,000 across more than 70 grants.
The organisation’s 2024 impact report highlights projects it has supported through this funding, which provide local support and create conditions for people to live well, regardless of their starting point.
A partnership approach making a difference
This impact is made possible thanks to donor generosity, including many individuals and occupiers based here at Milton Park. From fundraising events like the Edible Hanging Basket workshop to the Ice Cream Day giveaway, the Park’s community has played a valuable role in helping the Powerhouse improve local lives.
We will once again be asking for suggested donations this year from Milton Park occupiers attending the Wreath Making Workshops. Like last year, each of the stall holders at Milton Park Christmas Market (which is open to all on Thursday 27 November) will donate to Powerhouse in exchange for a stall.
Last year, over 1,000 people visited the Christmas market and around 150 people who work at Milton Park took part in the wreath making, raising over £2,500 for Didcot Powerhouse.
