Bake-off Competition at Macmillan Coffee Morning

Published on: 14/09/2015

Come and be part of the world’s biggest coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and be in with a chance to win some super prizes as we raise money for this charity.

Join us for coffee and cake at the Business Lounge at the Innovation Centre, Milton Park, on Friday 25 September 2015 from 10am to 12pm.

For all those competitive bakers, there will be a ‘Bake Off competition’, so please bring along your cakes which will be judged by our very own ‘Mary Berry’* and ‘Paul Hollywood’ (Dawn Crawford and Philip Campbell) on taste, appearance and technical ability.

Cakes will then be sold by the slice to raise money for Macmillan, with every cake shared helping Macmillan be there for someone affected by cancer, from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.

Also there will be lots of games and competitions, including the addictive ‘Steady Hand Buzz Wire’, and many brilliant prizes to be won, including:

Four ball of golf at Hadden Hill Golf Club
Car valet at Ridgeway Volkswagen
One month free membership at The Park Club
Lunch voucher at The Brasserie
£30 voucher at Costa Drive Thru
Hair/beauty voucher at Creations
Movie voucher at Cineworld
Dinner for two and a bottle of wine at Wildwood Kitchen in Didcot
One day (9am-5pm) free meeting room in the Innovation Centre for up to 15 people
Hamper from Clearwater Hampers
Red wine
White wine
Chocolates and sweets

A big thank you to all the businesses who have so kindly donated prizes.

Do come and join us – everyone is welcome.
