Update: Coronavirus

Published on: 27/03/2020

Following the most current UK government COVID-19 advice issued, we wanted to update you on matters at Milton Park. Please keep checking this page for further updates.

Travel

We appreciate that the buses are essential for key workers and others.

The Milton Park shuttle bus is a registered service operated by Courtney Coaches and is required to continue to operate as per the normal schedule subject to decisions by Oxfordshire County Council's Traffic Commissioner.

To subscribe to the shuttle bus' maintenance and delay update service, please text MILTON to 07716 711 744.

For public service buses, we understand that the Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel are starting to look at temporarily reducing services as part of its response to the evolving situation.

It is currently analysing services and plans to adjust timetables on several routes to better match service provision to demand but will seek to maintain services during peak hours.

Further details can be found by clicking the following links:

Any changes to the Milton Park shuttle bus, and indeed cycle hire, will be provided through the Mi-Link journey planner, which also covers trains, public service buses and other forms of transport.

Details on how to access Mi-Link can be found here: https://www.miltonpark.co.uk/mi-link

Property and facilities management

The property and facilities management at Milton Park is outsourced to CBRE and Ashdown Phillips.

CBRE's role covers the whole Milton Park estate. Ashdown Phillips undertakes the operational management of Milton Park's Innovation Centre at 99 Park Drive.

As part of their day-to-day remit, they are responsible for health and safety matters at Milton Park and are actively taking practical steps in the context of their responsibilities and the evolving situation.

These providers are in direct communication with their contacts within Milton Park businesses and the wider Milton Park supply chain.

If you would like to know more about the practical steps being taken, please do get in touch with Peter King at CBRE for Milton Park and Lorna Wright at Ashdown Phillips for the Innovation Centre.

The providers have also requested that businesses and the supply chain notify them immediately of any confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 amongst people based at Milton Park.

Please do this by emailing: facilities@miltonpark.com.

Innovation Centre

The Innovation Centre at 99 Park Drive has moved to out-of-hours operating. This means that building occupiers can still access their space but the following services will be suspended until further notice:

- Hot desk room
- Meeting rooms
- Business Lounge
- Telephone answering service
- Parcel sign for
- Daily mail sorting

- Outgoing mail.

Post will be delivered to the security office daily and the security team will put the mail into the post room, where a member of the Ashdown Phillips team will attend site a couple of times a week to sort the mail into respective mailboxes. Parcels which need to be signed for will not be accepted, so please redirect to your homes.

CTS is moving all telephone lines that are routed through reception to an out-of-hours service. This will follow the instructions that occupiers have in place for evening and weekend calls. If you have any amendments to be made please email icteam@miltonpark.com and we will log the change.

The cleaning operatives will still be attending site over this period and cleaning as per their normal schedule, with particular attention to the touch points. Those with cleaning in their offices will again continue unless you have requested a changed or for this to be cancelled.

If anyone is accessing the building for essentials, please adhere to all government guidelines, washing hands and social distancing if anyone else is there.

Milton Park security

The current 24-hour manned security guarding remains in place and occupiers can contact security for any ad-hoc building requests.
