Mingle at Milton Park - Returning to work virtual special: answering your questions

Published on: 22/07/2020

We received so much brilliant feedback from our community in our Return to Work survey with questions and concerns such as: "how will I be able to social distance", "how will buildings be kept clean" and "what are my legal rights"?

Powered by such questions, we have set-up our first Mingle at Milton Park since the lockdown which will focus on "Returning to Work: answering your questions."

This free to attend event will be held virtually on Zoom on Tuesday 4th August at 11.30am for an hour.

We've lined up some great speakers covering managing the buildings for people's safe return, mental health and anxiety concerns, and legal obligations.

Take a look at the agenda below from our four speakers and find out how to register for free.

Agenda

- Tom Booker, MEPC, Milton Park

Introductions and overview of our Return to Work survey findings.

- Peter King, Estate Manager at Milton Park, CBRE

Managing the facilities, implementing the Covid-19 measures at multi-occupied buildings and how we can all stay safe.

- Beverley Sunderland, Crossland Employment Solicitors

What are my legal/ HR rights as an employer or employee rights? What is the legal obligation to carry out risk assessments? How do I continue to use the furlough scheme? What are the rights of employers to insist on an employee returning to work? Can an employee lawfully refuse to return?

- Gary Hibbins, Park Counselling and Wellbeing

Whether you're worried about keeping safe, keeping your family safe, regaining financial stability or continued lack of certainty and change that lie ahead, they will give their coaching tips to help individuals and businesses stay well and work well in an ever-changing environment.

Gary will address any mental health and anxiety concerns and give some practical pointers about looking after your and your teams’ wellbeing as you transition back to work.

- Tom Booker, MEPC, Milton Park
