Last Thursday, MEPC celebrated the property launch of the latest development at Milton Park – Park Drive East. Property professional attendees were greeted by delicious food and drink from the Wandering Kitchen, while Farooq Anwar and Paddy Waters from Fun Scientists demonstrated various chemical experiments including making apple sorbet from dry ice and making flames disappear into thin air.
There were also competitive games to test the skills of attendees, with Jack Ponting from Cater Jonas taking home the prize of two tickets to prestigious car show Salon Privé, hosted at Blenheim Palace.
One of the fun highlights of the afternoon were the goggles that were handed out to attendees, allowing them to visualise Park Drive East in virtual reality. The event concluded with an insightful talk by former physiotherapist for British Cycling Phil Burt, who provided insights into how him and his team used science, technology, and innovation to help optimise the world of British Cycling.
