Swift’s Easter Bunny to visit John Radcliffe

Published on: 23/03/2015

For the fourth year running, in the run up to Easter, Swift Logistics Group, based at Milton Park and Newbury are organising and coordinating the delivery of Easter eggs to the Children's Wards at both the John Radcliffe and Royal Berkshire hospitals.

The deliveries are made by the Swift Easter Bunny and eggs are donated by Swift’s staff and clients, and fellow supporters.

Phil Tynan, Relationship Manager at Swift Logistics Group said: “Every year we have so many Easter egg donations and huge support from our wonderful staff and customers. The children’s faces, some who are very poorly, and also their siblings’ faces, light up when our Easter Bunny arrives with baskets full of chocolate – it’s magical. We just want to help make a small difference to those families who aren’t able to be at home for Easter.”

This year, the Swift Easter Bunny will visit the Children’s Ward at the John Radcliffe Hospital on 1st April 2015 at 11:00 and the Royal Berkshire on 2nd April 2015 at 14:00.

Swift will also be delivering to West Berkshire and Oxfordshire Social Services.

If you would like to donate an Easter Egg or your company is able to collect some Easter eggs to help this great cause and put a smile on the faces of a hospitalised child and their siblings this Easter, please call Swift before 31 March 2015 on 0870 24 24 365 and they will send a courier to collect your donations.
