Urban Garden Awards winners 2025

Back to results

Winners announced for Milton Park Urban Garden Awards 2025

It’s no secret that we’re passionate about green space and biodiversity at Milton Park. From August to late October, we gave companies on the Park with an urban garden patch the chance to secure green-fingered glory in our annual Urban Garden Awards.

Our urban gardens are part of our commitment to sustainability – allowing people based on the Park the chance to grow fruit, vegetables, herbs and other plants while at work. Each bed is sponsored by a company who decide what they would like to grow. Many of the companies have set up garden clubs for their employees and it is a great way for people to get some fresh air, meet others on the Park and share gardening tips, improving overall wellbeing and work-life balance.

From colourful planters to wildlife havens, it’s been inspiring to see the creativity and care that goes into each garden across Milton Park.

Congratulations to this year’s Urban Garden Award winners:

Glyden Pharma took home prizes for Best Use of Colour (pictured above) and Most Unusual Food Item – with their vibrant displays and impressive ‘pointy’ tomatoes!

Oxitec received the Biodiversity Award for creating a thriving space for bees, bugs and wildlife.

Prizes included beautiful hampers from Hampers.com (based here at the Park) and Savages of Blewbury, along with a special Kew Gardens community growing guide and seasonal seeds.

A huge thank you to everyone who entered and to our judges, Milton Park’s Sustainability and Community Manager, Veronica Reynolds and Steve Packman from Nurture Landscapes for recognising the talent and passion within our gardening community.
