Job Description
Position Overview:
They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator/PMO to join our team at Nexeon. This role will report to the Programmes Director taking an important role as the Project Manager’s trusted partner in the execution of Nexeon’s business-critical development projects and championing project management process across the organisation, delivering exceptional results aligned with the Business Objectives.
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;
• As a pivotal member of the project management team, you will develop an understanding of all facets of the project portfolio.
• Be a reliable go-to person for the project team, promote a can-do attitude and facilitate quality communication across the business.
• Work autonomously to promote project management principles; taking clear meeting notes and actions, documenting risks, and preparing an excellent standard of reports.
• Track project planned vs actual metrics and proactively escalate issues to the PM team.
• Deputise for Project Managers and have the opportunity to undertake project management responsibilities for smaller project delivery activities.
• Work with the Programmes Director and Quality teams to develop and implement PM processes.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to drive excellence in our project management process, enhancing their products, projects and operations.
• Be comfortable communicating with people in technical roles and of different levels of seniority.
• Be comfortable with working in a dynamic scale-up environment and be ready to quickly pivot to a new priority as and when required.

Essential
• A working knowledge of industry standard project management processes.
• A good level of numeracy, literacy, ability to generate high-quality reporting, with high proficiency in use of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in working with people with diverse skill sets across a multi-disciplinary matrix organisation.
• Showcased working in, or desire to work in, a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for being organised, and logical, with attention to detail.
• High EQ and strong communication skills.
• A goal-oriented mindset and the willingness to tackle new challenges head-on.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP, Agile)
Desirable
• Experience of working within a formal project management structure and/or the chemical engineering industry.
• Project management qualification from certified body (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP, Agile)
• Proficiency and experience in use of common project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Monday.com, Miro etc.)
• Proficiency and experience in the use of business systems (e.g. Sharepoint, Power Bi, etc.)
