Benedicts joins CBRE as joint agents

Back to results

Kicking off the New Year with a brand-new strategic partnership

Milton Park has appointed Benedicts to join CBRE as joint leasing agents for the Park.

Milton Park welcomed over 40 new occupiers in 2025 and is now home to more than 280 innovative companies. Benedicts and CBRE will support the Milton Park team in attracting new occupiers to the Park and help existing occupiers with their evolving space needs.

Arrivals to Milton Park in 2025 included quantum innovators TreQ, photonic-switch pioneers Salience Labs and the iconic British retail brand Oka.

Another arrival in 2025 is Inify, a Swedish AI-powered cancer diagnostics company, which took space at the Nebula R&D mid-tech scheme. The move marked the company’s first laboratory presence in the UK and was one of the Golden Triangle’s largest life science take-up deals of Q3 2025.

According to CBRE and Benedicts, the UK’s commercial property market is expected to see increased demand from similar companies that want adaptable innovation space in 2026.

The appointment follows a year on from the refreshed Milton Park Local Development Order (LDO), which introduced a 10-day simplified planning process and permits up to 4.2 million sq ft of development, enabling occupiers to grow flexibly and at pace. It also follows a recent £376 million financing deal for Milton Park, believed to be one of the largest single-asset transactions outside London, which will support the delivery of the Park’s 2040 Vision.

Progress against that vision has been seen in developments such as Signal Yard, the Park’s new amenity destination, due to open in spring 2026. With 13 of its 17 units already let, Signal Yard will offer a mix of independent eateries, wellness facilities and services for Milton Park’s occupiers, their employees and the wider community.

The agents say these developments, combined with Milton Park’s ample space, strong connectivity (including three fast bus services per hour to Oxford) and access to world-leading talent, have created an unparalleled offer within the region.

Commenting on the appointment, Philip Campbell, Commercial Director at Milton Park, said: “We are delighted to announce that Benedicts will join CBRE as joint property agents for Milton Park and we look forward to working with them in partnership to welcome even more high-growth, innovative businesses into our growing community.”

Tom Barton, Senior Director at CBRE, said: “Milton Park offers companies a unique opportunity to be at the centre of a world-class destination, all in single ownership. Its talent pool, ten-day simplified planning, space to grow, transport connections to Oxford and beyond, world-class amenities and exceptional power capacity set it apart.

“As well as being a leading hub for life sciences, we’re also seeing exciting activity from quantum, AI, deep- and green-tech sectors across the Park. Our market insight and data gives a clear perspective on emerging demand signals and we expect to see an uplift in leasing in these areas as the year progresses.”

Tom Vecchione, Director at Benedicts, said: “With stronger inward investment and an increasing spotlight on Oxfordshire’s innovation strengths, the outlook this year is looking bright.

“As an Oxfordshire-based agency, we’re proud to support Milton Park in providing adaptable space which is suitable for a range of sectors and emerging tech. Our recent leasing work at Signal Yard has shown the strength of the Park’s offer and we look forward to helping shape its future.”
