Are you interested in joining the many Milton Park occupiers who have become Didcot Powerhouse Fund donors? By contributing, you’ll be helping to build a healthier, stronger Didcot for everyone.
Powerhouse brings together local giving to strengthen the charities that matter most in Didcot and the surrounding areas.
Royal visit
As a corporate donor, you can make a real and measurable difference for people in our community. Now in its fourth year, Powerhouse has provided over 70 grants, totalling £400,000 to local charities, a remarkable achievement which was recognised at the highest level during a recent Royal visit.
Grants have supported vital initiatives in the local area, from suicide prevention and domestic abuse support to early years programmes that give local children the best start in life. The impact is well documented and the feedback from those benefitting has been truly inspiring. You can read more in Powerhouse Fund’s Impact Report.
Giving through the Powerhouse Fund is both easy and effective:
– All due diligence is done for you, so you can give with confidence
– Impact report published each year demonstrating the outcomes from the grants
– Powerhouse is run by volunteers, keeping overheads to a minimum
– A grants panel made up of local experts ensures every pound goes directly where it is needed most.
Powering a healthy Didcot
Looking ahead, Didcot Powerhouse Funds’ 2026 theme is ‘Powering a Healthy Didcot’, which aims to embrace health in its broadest sense, ranging from supporting physical wellbeing initiatives to mental health and community resilience groups.
The next round of grant applications will be distributed in spring 2026.
